Caleb Domanic Levi
Name: Caleb Levi
Nickname: 33, Cale , Blacksmiths boy, Son of Adam
Age: 23
Race: Human
World: Earth - Been in Narnia 6 years
Alliance:Aslan
Celebrity Claim: Chris Hemsworth
Looks: Caleb Levi is often said to be rather intimidating, standing at 6'4ft with a body that is pretty much all muscle and a stare that would probably make you feel 3 feet tall it is understandable that some people would take him that way. He has deep green eyes and light brown hair that hangs just above his shoulders, he most of the time wears it down but can sometimes be seen with it back in a tie. He is usually dressed in some pants and a white long sleeved shirt with a leather vest and other leather outfittings to help protect him in the forest and a star of david on a cord hanging around his neck that his father had given him while they were on the inside, because one of the few things they always had in there was their faith and he said that it would make sure god watched over him. On the inside of his left arm he has the numbers 33564, which was his number in the camp. Still whenever anyone says 33 he looks up.
He usually is always seen with some sort of weapon on him though they are often hidden under a long animal skin coat that he wears to protect him from the ever dropping temperature. If one was to see Caleb without his shirt you would see his chest and back that are riddle with scars and marks - most that are not from hunting.
Personality: After how he grew up, most people would think Caleb Levi would be a bruised and broken man. Just he likes to think the hard ships he has already been through has made him stronger. When you first talk to him, you would be unable to guess what he has been through and that is just how he likes it. He is usually a charming a carefree soul who is always the one to try and cheer someone up with a joke or a kind word. He is usually all smiles, even though when it comes to protect those he cares for there are probably few people who would go farther to do so. His time in the camp had proved to him that their time on earth was short and that you need to fight for the time you have and those you love.
Though even he usually puts up a front that he has nothing bad in his past, deep down he still has nightmares every night about his past. His years in the camp had also left him with a terribly bad temper, even though it is usually hard to set off…when it does you all better take cover. When he usually breaks because of his past he makes sure to keep it to himself, he was used to the fact weakness got you killed in the camp. So? Don’t show anyone that you are weak. So Caleb Levi may seem like just another Talmerine on the surface but underneath he is a guy who was broken to near shatter, and is trying to build himself back up again.

History: Caleb was born in a small town of Berlin Germany in the summer of 1924 to Dominique and Isiah Levi, a young Jewish couple who had been trying for a child for years. The first few years of Calebs childhood where nothing but perfect, he never had trouble making friends at school and he had two parents who adored him. What could go wrong? Truth was allot.
When he was nine years old, Adolf Hitler was appointed chancellor of Germany. At first everyone thought that he would just be another leader, nothing to drastic would change. Just that didn’t last long as the jews were made to were stars on their chest to single them out from the rest of Germany as the socialist party made the public believe that the Jewish community and others who weren’t what they saw as the ‘master race’ where the reason for all of Germanys problems. It wasn’t too long after all that began that Caleb and his family where forced away from their home to live in the ghettos, where people where fighting for places to live and food to eat.
It was only a few months after his tenth birthday that the soldiers came. They burst through the door with their guns and took Caleb and his whole family away. Caleb, his parents and his grandmother where all stuffed into a train with around 80 other jews and sent across the country to a place they were told that they would live from now on because it would help with Germanys poverty, however what they didn’t know was what hell was waiting for them behind the barb wire fences.
When they came into the camp they were brought into this large room where they were stripped of everything they owned and then a large man came and started to pair them off into two groups. He paired them off as workers, and chambers. They had heard stories of the chambers, even if they had only been there a short while they knew that if you were sent to the gas chambers you weren’t coming back. Caleb had hung onto his mother’s hand as the people where sent through the worker door, and dragged off to the chambers. Children, men, women and elderly… He watched them all being dragged off to the chambers, anyone that they didn’t see fit to work. Allot of the children being around his age, as the man got closer to his family he began to shake because he didn’t want to die. However when he stopped at his grandmother and ordered her to go to the chambers, all of Caleb’s fear for himself disappeared and he ran at the man.” No! She will not go!” He cried in German as he ran to try and reach his grandmother she turned him around and spoke softly in Hebrew.” you must be strong little one, and grow to be a good man. Understand me? I love you.” Caleb looked at her with tears in his eyes and nodded.”Yes grandmamma, I love you too…” He had told her before they brought her away and he ran back to his mother.
When they reached him the man said he showed strength, and he was sent to be a worker along with his father and mother. It was then that he had the numbers ‘33564’ tattooed onto his arm. From then on in that was what all the guards called him, and even the other prisoners called him ‘33’ for short. It was so easily to lose who you were in a place like that, but as Caleb grew up he remembered what his grandmother had told him. To be strong and to be a good man, this was one of the few things that kept him from giving up completely.
As the years went by Caleb grew weaker but still tried to keep his head held high. Another thing he grew into was rebellion, even though he was stuck in the camp being tortured, beaten and watching his friends die, he was always the one who would tell the other prisoners that they didn’t deserve this. Day to day life was hell, the work was always humiliating, degrading and you were lucky if you ever made it through the day. Just number 33 always made it through the day, no matter how many beating he got or how weak he felt he always made it through. He couldn’t help but wonder if the lord had a reason for to keep him alive, some greater purpose.
However that was tested when he was seventeen years old, he had been working in the fields when he saw a bunch of guards beating on his father. Before he could even really process what was happening he was attacking them. Even though he was weak and brittle he had to try, he couldn’t just let them beat his father to death. The fight ended with the death of a guard, Caleb hadn’t meant to do it but he had tried grab the gun they had been beating his father with and it had gone off, killing the man holding it. Just he knew that this action was going to cost him his life. They carried him away to the prison block and locked him up. They left him in there a week with no food before they told him he would meet a firing squad the next morning. He had spent allot of the night staring at the ceiling, trying to wrap his head around the fact that he was going to die. He always thought he was going to die young in there, but now that it was happening he still was finding it hard to process.
He fell asleep accepting the fact that when the sun came up he was going to die. However when he opened his eyes, he was in an old back ally that seemed like it was something out of a renascence fair. An older man came out of a door nearby and looked down at him.” Hey! You okay boy?” He had asked but Caleb had barely understood him because he was speaking English. All he could get out was.” Hu-ungry..” And he prayed that he had said the right thing, though the fact that he was all skin and bones may have helped. He had, the man took him in and made sure he got fed, made sure he got his strength back.
The man’s name had been Derrik and he was the blacksmith for the Talmerine army. He was the one who explained to Caleb that he was now in a place called Narnia, helped him learn the language and taught him all he would need to know to survive. Taught him to be a blacksmith, how to fight, and how to hunt. Caleb trained the best he could, worked hard, often could be seen lifting and throwing rocks and boulders on the outside of the village. He didn’t want to seem like a weak kid anymore, and it wasn’t long before he was all muscle. By the time he was 18 the only thing that made the boy seem different from the rest of the Talmerines was his German accent. Caleb was able to live there and keep his horrible past under wraps, there were times people would ask about his scars but he would just tell them that he had been in a war. Which was at least part of the truth..
However it all came out when he was 23, after the war with Miraz and Prince Caspian went wrong, and the white witch was released. Derrik and Caleb where among the ones who retreated to Archland to join Caspians and the Pevensies side. However the moment he opened his mouth he could see the Kings and Queens retract. Just when he explained his past to them and he hoped they understood that he had much of a beef with the Germans back home as they did. Now a few months later he was hiding out in Archland with the Narnian army, making weapons for them and training with them. He knows a dictator when he see’s one, so he is ready to do anything to take the White Witch down.
