I Can’t Take It In
Name: Daniel Andrew Addison
Nickname: Dan, Danny
Age: 15
Race: Human
World: Narnia/Earth
Alliance: Aslan
It Couldn’t Be Anymore Beautiful
Looks:
Daniel is a young man with a fairly muscular body. This is due to Daniel doing push-ups and sit-ups as well as doing outdoor pursuits. He has a light tan, which hints that he has spent most of his time outdoors. He has honey blonde hair, which reaches down to the nape of his neck. The front part of his hair falls over ocean-blue eyes, which sit nicely above a button-shaped nose. The mouth could be described as “kissable” and he certainly has the perfect shaped mouth for it. Overall height-wise, Daniel is 5'3, which means that he is small for his age.
Clothes-wise, Daniel wears a grey collared shirt coupled with brown breeches, brown shorts and black shorts. He doesn’t believe in dressing up in smart clothes and will only do so if there is a special event i.e. a wedding etc. He has a friendship bracelet on his right hand that a friend gave him and a necklace, resembling a dog tag. On one side it has a phoenix engraved on it and on the other side, the words: “Singing is the key to happiness” are engraved onto it. Kai is described as being “cute”. He has that look about him that makes him look youthful but sexy cute at the same time.
Celebrity Claim: Jesse McCartney
Personality:
Upon meeting Daniel, you'll see that he's rather shy but he'll be himself after a period of time. He's really friendly and likes to make new friends. When with friends, he can have a laugh and tease his friends but knowing his limits. Daniel is usually the one who people go to for advice and tends to be able to figure some of the answers to their problems. In other cases, he'll just shut up and let them figure things out for themselves, believing that people should learn things for themselves.
Daniel has a somewhat childlike view on life, often viewing things as simple and can act childlike sometimes. However, Daniel is mature and intelligent for the majority of the tine. He is an observer, watching the little things that most people might miss. Being mute isn't that amazing and Daniel will have bouts of depression and subsequently has gained mild to medium case of a inferiority complex.
If Daniel likes a girl, he'll be shy and awkward around them until he professes his love for them, which probably will either take him a long time for him to do so or he'll just tell them after a few days. When he does date someone, he'll be a fiery and passionate lover, making his lover's life enjoyable while making sure that they both listen to each other's problems. If his lover is in trouble, then Daniel will stand by them no matter what.
Daniel is a big fan of Musicals and will be seen dancing and singing. He hates it when someone points out that he can’t sing (which he can) then you had seriously better get the hell out of there! He’s touchy I know.
Daniel's enemies better beware of his rage. He's a cold as ice when dealing with enemies. If one of his enemies has harmed one of his loved ones, then he'll track them down and make them pay for what they've done, and in battle, he wields his twin daggers with deadly accuracy so just be careful what you do or say.
Family:
Louis Addison (father)
Agnes Addison (mother)
Tristan Addison (older brother)
Rachel Addison (younger sister)
Sarah Addison (younger sister)
Henry, Katherine, Ian and Martha (Quadruplets)
Michael Addison (younger brother)
History:
Daniel was born second out of eight in the family. Naturally, Louis and Agnes were proud to be parents again but were shocked to discover that their second born was mute and both had different views on their second born. Louis viewed Daniel as a curse from God, feeling that he had smitten the Addison family for misbehaving while Agnes viewed as a special blessing that needed to be looked after and cared for. Tristan, his older brother, took Agnes’s view and treated his younger brother with respect, playing games and telling stories. Daniel’s infancy and early childhood was good, despite the fact that Louis seemed fearful of Daniel and sometimes lashed out in drunken rage, and at first it was only on occasion but soon, it became more frequent. Agnes did her best to shield her precious son from her husband’s rages but it didn’t always work.
Before Louis was called to war duty, when Dan was three, Agnes gave birth to a healthy baby girl whom they named Rachel. Dan watched as Louis doted on his little girl and gave him dirty looks. Fortunately for Daniel, Louis was called away for war duty and the small boy spent two blissful two years away from Louis’s abuse. In that time, Rachel grew to be a very inquisitive little girl, who was loved by both brothers. Agnes had also found someone who could teach Daniel British Sign Language, and Daniel soaked the information like a sponge. She saw a change in Daniel, he was happier and loved his new-found way of communicating. She made herself and her older son learn Sign Language and found it so much easier to talk to her younger son. When the two years up, Louis came back to find a household of Sign Language users, and naturally, he disliked it. However, Agnes persuaded him to learn it but the price was that she became pregnant and gave birth to another girl, Sarah. When this had happened, they had had to move to move a bigger house, which the children disliked doing.
Tristan and Daniel were enrolled in an all boy’s boarding school, where he was immediately bullied due to his small stature and muteness. Tristan had to sometimes protect his younger brother but mostly, Daniel was left for the sharks so to speak. Home life wasn’t much better, since Louis’s drunken rages had increased and Agnes had given birth to Quadruplets, something not really common. It would be when Daniel was eleven that he befriended Peter and Edmund Pevensie. He was Peter’s age so became closer with him more than Edmund. Daniel became just a fraction happier but was still sad, quiet and timid. The Addison family would have some peace and quiet when Louis was called away on a three year war duty. Daniel enjoyed those three years but had to put up with bullies instead, which in a way was worse. He sailed through the years, excelling in more creative subjects and staying by Peter, Edmund and Tristan. During that time, he met Susan and Lucy, Peter’s sisters. He had met them briefly one summer. He had simply loved Lucy and Susan was very nice and had treated him as an equal.
The time came when Louis came back permanently and that was when the drunken rages happened again. Agnes gave birth to her final baby, a son called Michael. She also created a bag of cards with phrases on them, which Daniel found immensely helpful. When Daniel was fifteen, something happened. The Pevensies left mysteriously and Louis’s rages became constant. He even turned on the others. One day, Dan was hiding to escape one of Louis’ rages and found a tear. He quickly decided to go into the tear and was utterly in awe. He delighted in exploring and finding out about this new world. However, he soon discovered that this world was dangerous as well as wonderful. Daniel discovered mythical creatures were trying to capture him but the small boy outwitted him, taking twin daggers in the mean time.
Daniel Addison has been in Narnia for two days, and is going to Cair Paravel unknowingly.

“Where are you, Danny boy?” roared a deep voice. “Father just wants to see his son!” Ocean blue eyes were wide with fear and he made sure to stay very still. It wasn’t the first time that Daniel was temporarily glad that he was mute. The no sound thing was useful for times like this. Father would always call his name, gurgling down alcohol in between, and then go sleep his drunkenness off. However, the times when his Father managed to get a hold of him...those were dark times for the mute boy. The man would probably never get rid of his alcoholic problem. As far as Daniel could remember, his Father had always been an alcoholic. Mother always gathered her precious children round when Father was away on war duty.
I just hope that the others are alright. Father always turns on them when he doesn’t get me thought Daniel. He hated it when Father turned on them. They didn’t need it, especially little Michael. Oh, how he wished he could get away from this awful house. Sure, Mother and the others did their best but Daniel felt lonely. The Pevensies had gone and that meant that Daniel had no one that he felt truly comfortable with, not even his darling siblings. The Pevensies were like his siblings and he missed them terribly. He remembered that he had met the girls briefly one summer. They had been really nice and hadn’t judged him on his muteness. They had actually liked him and spoken to him.
Then he saw it, a flicker of something else…
He crawled over to where he saw the flicker. The mute boy peeked through the window-like hole in the air. He blinked in confusion and shock. It was a forest, but one unlike any other. It was one he had seen in his dreams, one with an air of mysticism. The trees were so tall and ancient-looking and the air smelled clean, like fresh water running through a meadow. The honey-blonde boy bit his bottom lip gently and made a very important decision. Daniel army-rolled out of the foliage and then sped to the house. He opened the door and tiptoed inside, stopping at every sound. Eventually, he grabbed his bag of cards, to which he gave a silent sigh of great relief. He couldn’t go without his bag of cards.
Once he had gone outside, Daniel peeked inside and exhaled, still unsure of what do.
“Danny boy!” cried a familiar voice, which prompted Daniel to make the crucial decision. He closed and entered the strange world.
