Hello Everyone!
I know I haven't been on very much lately, but I'm hoping that will change. On another note, it is here I have decided to post that I have begun a new project! Woooo!
So we all know about Lucy's farewell gown from Prince Caspian.

So we all know about Lucy's farewell gown from Prince Caspian.
First time I saw it i was like, what the heck kind of fabric is that? In compliance to our own precious Lucy's thoughts, it looks like she has chili peppers all over her gown. Anyway, I found a dress that instantly reminded me of Lucy's farewell gown. Only it didn't have chili peppers. Oh no. It had something much more Lucy-esque (in my opinion anyway). Flowers!
Note the picture is a little dark so the fabric is much darker than it actually is. And I'm not as pissed off as I look. It was very late, if I recall, and I was super tired.
Anyway! I immediately thought to myself, OH MY GOD, LUCY DRESS! So I bought it from Goodwill. Sadly there was nothing there to match my needs for the light green fabric used on the back to hold the dress together or for the sleeves. That's okay, I have a Goodwill near my college (even if they did take out the JoAnne Fabrics, grrrr).
My first task is to get the red on it, for as all can see, there is no red to be found on the dress. And there's red all over Lucy's farewell dress So, what am I doing to get that red there?
Handsewing tiny red beads onto it! Not every flower, just the pure gold ones, as you can see. I have the full front panel on the dress done and one of the side panels halfway done. I still need to sew on the back ties, arms, and an extra rim of fabric around the bottom for extra height. But I am excited and I will try to keep all updated.
