I Can’t Take It In
Name: Arina Kaindui
Nickname: Ari
Age: 17
Race: Midnight Elf
World: Runia
Alliance: neutral; for now
It Couldn’t Be Anymore Beautiful
Looks: Arina stands 5'4" with full lips and long dark brown hair with goldish green eyes. Her smile is almost contagious and she normally wears one. She is petite but not done growing yet, she has tanned skin like most Midnight Elves and her ears are double the length of an average human and come to a point. She carries her bow and arrow, with her twin daggers on her back.
Celebrity Claim: Emily Browning
Personality: Arina is very outgoing and adventurous. She isn’t afraid to take a chance and say what is on her mind. There is always this eagerness about her in everything she does. She can be very childlike at times and her curiosity can cause her to have a short attention span. Arina is very independent and hates to look to others for help. Her rash behavior and good intentions have gotten her in trouble many times when she was little. To try and avoid war in her country she lied about how her parents died to the King. She was shunned by society after the truth was discovered.
Arina has other people’s interest at heart but she is still young, very young for a Midnight Elf and has much to learn. She is eager to learn but not always so eager to listen to what others have to say, especially if it is about war. Her guilt for lying to her brother and the King did not bother her at first because of her young age and eventually she forgot about it. But as soon as she was found out her guilt turned to rage for her punishment and hate toward herself. She blames herself for the pending war between the Midnight and Golden Elves. For the most part Arina normally has a smile on her face and tries to convince others to take chances. She would rather live in her imagination than in reality.
Family: Bay’n (older brother) 50
Junlia (mother-dead) 300
Majk (father-dead) 324
History: Arina was born in Runia in the city of Donholv. Her parents Junlia and Majk were a part of the royal court. Her father Majk was one of the King’s soldiers and looked highly upon in their society. She lived just outside of the castle and since she could walk Arina was always on the move. Her mother was a very skilled archer and taught Arina, while her father helped with her dual knife skills. Her imagination followed her everywhere she went. Arina ventured off into the Templar Forest that closed the city to the coast. She pretended that she was in other worlds. Her mother and father would get upset because she would travel so deep into the Templar Forest. There was a colony of Golden Elves that lived there and if she happened upon their territory there was no telling what they would do to her. As a result Arina’s brother Bay’n started to follow her on her adventures.
About six years ago she traveled with her parents further north to the inland sea Wen to visit a small village at the edge of the Selwyn Woods. A group of angry Golden Elves found them and killed both Arina’s parents. She escaped and made her way back to Donholv. When she was asked what happened to her parents, she said that they drowned terrified that a war would start and more lives would be lost. She hid the truth even from her brother. She was able to hide it for years. A few months ago her brother found out after hearing Arina talk to her closest friend about the matter. When the King found out Arina was put under house arrest for with holding valuable information. Her brother refused to speak with her or even see her. She was an outcast in Donholv for hiding the truth of her parent’s death.
One night during her punishment Arina heard her brother speaking about her to one of the other soldiers of the King. Bay’n spoke ill of Arina and she couldn’t stand to have her brother hate her as well so she escaped and ran to the surrounding Templar Forest bringing her bow and knifes with her. It just so happened that she stumbled upon a few Golden Elf warriors. She ran from them to the River of Templar and fell in. When she resurfaced she found herself in a strange unfamiliar wooded area full of individual pools. After she climbed out of one she went to inspect the other ones. With a sneaking suspicion Arina jumped into the nearest pool this time finding herself in yet another place she did not recognize [Narnia].
She kept herself hidden in the forest of this strange place, and while she was excited about this new world Arina had no way of knowing how to get back to Runia. Then again she wasn’t so sure she wanted to go back, not to a place where she was hated by everyone she cared for. She is still living in Narnia, and has been for a few weeks and has run into a few talking beasts. While she was surprised at first Arina has made friends with a few and lives quietly with them in the Western March. Her curiousity and need for adventure is getting the better of her and it’s time for Arian to explore this new world she discovered through the Wood Bewteen the Worlds.

Anwyn waited for a moment before she walked around to the other side of her desk stopping behind her tall backed chair. Leaning forward on it she stared at Cedrych. She wasn’t exactly sure where she was going with all of this. It was just a means to keep Cedrych here a little longer. Anwyn didn’t have it in her to come out and say it so she went about it in an indirect way. If it were to be known that she actually….trusted Cedrych and was not offended by his company how would every other vampire under her see her as a leader? They followed her because they feared her. Now that she had a possible weakness…
“There are some who have been here longer than that and none of them show me loyalty as you do. You are faithful and obedient. Cedrych, you have my—our mission on your mind more than anything else.” she glanced down at the paper on her desk. In a swift movement she pulled her chair out and sat down lifting her ink pen again. With grace she touched it to a new piece of paper and ink flowed into curvy words as she scrawled across the page.
Anwyn wasn’t sure what she was writing for. The only thing she could think of was the Volturi, so she began writing the names of them down and a note of their ability next to it.
“And while I detest at how you follow me like a shadow.” she tensed up a little at the partial lie, almost breaking the pen. “I am glad that I did not have to use my own ability on you. It is refreshing to think that one of you share my same thoughts and feelings so passionately as you do.” Anwyn was talking in circles now. She had expressed all of this to Cedrych before.
She finished writing Jane’s name and set the pen down looking him in the eyes. It was then she realized why he had not taken the human for himself. His eyes were gold, not red like hers. She never really noticed it before, or while she did notice it never stuck in her mind. For some reason it suddenly bothered her that Cedrych had gold eyes. He wasn’t a monster. She was certain of that much, not like her. A sudden revelation hit her; if she had gold eyes her parents would not have fled in tear so many centuries ago.
Anwyn set her jaw and tore her eyes away from Cedrych’s and looked down at the paper again. She hated those eyes. Closing her eyes tight she forced the memories away and drew in a small breath to try and calm herself. Slowly she opened them and turned her head up to Cedrych her face void of any emotion, more so than usual.
“I have decided something.” she said. “Not only are those vampires without abilities filth, but those who choose a lifestyle apart from what has been originally designed.” there was a small hesitation before she continued. “I speak of course of those who feed on animals, the golden-eyed vampires. As vampires we were created to live off of humans. They are our cattle and to deny the true ways of our people is right cause for death.”
She swallowed, “You alone will be sparred Cedrych, but only because I need you for my campaign. Maybe if I feel merciful enough I will spare those who have important abilities. That is only if I deem them worthy enough.”
Anwyn went back to writing, this time she took down her newest revelation. Of course she would not have him killed, he was far too important to her. And for a moment in her mind she wasn’t sure if it had anything to do with the ability he possessed or not.
“Do you understand all of this Cedrych?” Anwyn asked after a minute, she glance dup at him but only met his gold eyes for a second.
